new Version 1350Beta

Hello Moviesandboxers,

Version1350 finally uses the improved Mod-structure, which means that everything is now neatly stowed in only one folder within your UT2004 installation, making future updates more reliable and lots easier for both you and me.

Apart from the directory change, there's a new "container" function in the Sceneditor. You can now contain selected nodes into a container to make room for new nodes and allow for better node structuring.
To select multiple nodes, hold shift and move your mouse over the other nodes you want to select. No clicking necessary.
To move the nodes, right click on one of them and move them all around.
To contain the nodes, simply hit the "." (point) key
To deselect, simply click somewhere else on the screen.

I will packag a pre-Beta version of the Tracer and Milkscanner programs for Moviesandbox soon, but i do not have enough time to do the tutorials and a bit more sturdy implementation now. If you want to get your hands on them, feel free to eMail me and i can send you the sourcecode and compiled versions.

Get the 1350Beta from thewiki download page!
Have fun and let me know how things work.

Hi,
It is the first time for me using this Tool. But It does not work. When I start with the *.bat file... I can't see the MovieSandbox Menue... There is only a room without textures and a bunch of bots are killing each other. The Log File shows the following error massage:

Warning: Failed to load 'BobBlockTextures': Can't find file for package 'BobBlockTextures'
Warning: Failed to load 'MSBObjects': Can't find file for package 'BobBlockTextures'
Warning: Failed to load 'MSBCode': Can't find file for package 'BobBlockTextures'
Warning: Failed to load 'MSBMainMenu': Can't find file for package 'BobBlockTextures'
Warning: Failed to load 'Class MSBMainMenu.MSBMainMenuGame': Can't find file for package 'BobBlockTextures'
Warning: Failed to load 'NULL': Can't resolve package name
Warning: Failed to load 'Mesh None.': Can't resolve package name

Is there anyone out there with the same problem?

Michael

Hey Michael,
sorry for the inconvenience. This is a problem with the package and i will have it corrected today.
Unfortunately it happens from time to time that i still reference packages that are not in the release anymore.
Sorry again, i'll post when things are updated.
