Moviesandbox V1360 in pre-Beta

I just uploaded the new V1360 release for pre-Beta testing with quite a long list of fixes and enhancements (go see for yourself!).
With most of the originally intended features in it, it's only a small step (mainly a visual one) to the 1400 from where i'll be releasing updates only sporadically.
Obviously, there's a lot of documentation work to be done right now, so please bear with me if some of the features aren't quite as obviously exposed as they should be. Or better yet, let me know about it!

For those early adopters that want to get their hands on the 1360, you can download it here. Everyone else please wait for the official announcement.

Note: The data structure has been changed slightly, so your old savegames/characters/poses have to be converted before they can be used in 1360. Look here to find out how!

Wiki changes

As some of you might have noticed, i made some structural changes to the Wiki and added a couple of new features.
For example, you can now include youtube videos (as can be seen on the Milkscanner Demo page) or a Google Calendar (on the Event Calendar page) - where you can see what i am up to (read: Workshops, Talks, Events) - Moviesandbox wise.
I also started to use categories and restructured the tutorials section a bit.
Unfortunately, i had to add a couple of Anti-Spamming measures, so please let me know if you feel comfortable with the extra stuff.
Oh, and by the way, a good place to post your problems/findings with Moviesandbox is the Bugs' Discussion page. That way, everyone can join in the discussion...

Milkscanner and Live-Input Tools available

I uploaded the Milkscanner, the Tracer and the Live Input program that i frequently use at presentations (now with Nintendo Wii and Gametrak support). I have some basic tutorials on how to connect input devices with Moviesandbox here and a general overview of the tools here.

Go get the tools from the download page!

I will add more info and tutorials as i go and i'll start producing video tutorials within the next couple of weeks (and i'll also revamp this website to become an entry point to using MSB).

And yes, a new version is in the pipeline, fixing a couple of nasty bugs and adding some new cool features.
I also want to thank all the people who sent in bug reports and questions. It helps to identify weak points and problems that i work around myself and tend to forget.

Finally, i had to block some of the "talk" pages on the Wiki due to intense spamming. If anyone knows of a solution that can be included into MediaWiki, please let me know!
